ADAPTIVE PROFILING TECHNOLOGY  
  Since the pattern based response has to go through the steps of finding and analyzing attacks, making their patterns and the implementation of policy, it may be logically impossible to respond simultaneously to the attacks and any postmortem response following the new types of attack with rapid propagation speed becomes meaningless.
Comparing with it, the profile based security technology can actively respond to any new types of attack without regard to securing their patterns.
The Adaptive Profiling Technology is largely composed of Self-Learning Engine, Profile DB, and profile based Inspection Engine which applies Profiles in policy.
