After Dr. Ebenezer Boahene Teye in March 2025, the April 2025 MONITORAPP Praise Relay was selected by Mr. Hyeokjoon Oh from the sales department.
Although he joined the company in November 2024, he was selected for the April 2025 Praise Relay due to his strong sense of responsibility and sincere work attitude.
Let's take a look at his interview.
Q1. How long have you been at MONITORAPP and what are your responsibilities?
I joined the company in November 2024 and have been here for 5 months now.
I am in charge of internal and external sales of products such as appliance and cloud web firewalls.
The Sales 1 team is responsible for identifying customer needs and proposing products to public institutions, financial institutions, and enterprises, coordinating demos and technical meetings, and carrying out the entire sales process from quotation and proposal work in collaboration with relevant departments within the company.
Q2. You have been working at MONITORAPP for 5 months now, please introduce the culture and atmosphere of MONITORAPP that you have experienced so far.
In the short period of time I've been here, I've felt that it's a highly communicative organization.
I was able to share my opinions freely, and feedback related to my work is shared transparently.
Q3. What has been the best (or worst) part of your job?
The unfamiliar technical terminology and product suite was a challenge at the beginning of my career, but I'm overcoming it with the help of my coworkers and personal learning.
Q4. How does it feel to be selected as a Praise Relay runner?
I am most grateful. We still have a lot to work on, but we will work harder to repay your expectations.
Q5. What factors do you think contributed to your selection as a Praise Relay Runner?
I think it's because I took responsibility for the work I was given and worked hard, and I tried to communicate with my coworkers in an open manner during the collaboration process.
Q6. What do you most want to accomplish at MONITORAPP in the remaining year of 2025?
My goal is to have a deeper understanding of our technology and products and the ability to explain them to customers in a more professional and trustworthy way.
To do this, I am studying various materials as well as internal training to improve my skills.
Q7. How would you like to see MONITORAPP grow in about 5 years and what do you wish for MONITORAPP?
I hope that MONITORAPP will grow into a security company that has established itself not only in Korea but also in the global market.
Personally, I would like to see a stronger education and support system to grow together with our members.
